The foot bath spreads to the whole body.
Our feet carry us every day and should be kissed in gratitude. When we want to get away from our heads, taking a foot bath is an old trick. It draws attention away from the head and down into the feet. This grounds the entire system, and well-being spreads all the way up through the body.
Warmth in the feet dilates our blood vessels and takes pressure off the head. When you add something to the water simultaneously, you increase the warming process. Lucia Cares Nourishing Salt Scrub is rich in salt, horsetail, and rosemary. It increases the heat process and benefits anchoring in the feet, which spreads to the whole body.

Make a warming foot bath:
- Fill a tub with water that is almost too hot to put your foot into (38-39 degrees Celsius water). Preferably, fill it so the water reaches mid-shin.
- Lather your feet in Nourishing Salt Scrub and add an extra scoop into the foot bath.
- Sit for 15 minutes and breathe deeply into your belly. It brings peace and calms the nervous system. Feel free to listen to the deep breath.
- Dry your feet thoroughly and moisturize the skin by applying Rich Rescue Cream or DeStress Day Lotion.
Instead of Nourishing Salt Scrub, you can also use:
- Rosemary essential oil (invigorating, warming)
- Citron (calming, uplifting)
- Mustard powder (grounding, warming)
- Lavender (calming)
