The essence of Lucia Care
We formulate nature's rich flora by treating plants with respect for their highest potential. Based on empirical evidence, Nanna Kirkebjerg selects medicinal herbs and their unique combinations in every single product. In addition to this medical approach, the special feature of Lucia Care is the use of essential oils.
Along with plant extracts, essential oils are active ingredients with nourishing properties for body and mind. Essential oils therefore reach far deeper than scent.
Certifications
Every single product from Lucia Care is certified and developed based on sustainable principles in collaboration with Dermapharm. The products carry recognized international certifications, which you can read more about here.
COSMOS Organic
COSMOS is a pan-European certification for organic cosmetic products. The COSMOS label indicates that the ingredients in the labeled product have been grown responsibly and with respect for the environment. It is your guarantee that we have set high standards for the selection of raw materials, cultivation, and organic content.To obtain certification, at least 95% of the plant-based ingredients must be organic, and the organic ingredients must make up at least 20% of the product—10% if the product is wash-off. Ecocert is a certification body for sustainable development.
Vegan Trademark
Most Lucia Cares products are certified with the Vegan Trademark label. This is your guarantee that Lucia Cares products do not contain animal ingredients or are tested on animals. Learn more about the Vegan Trademark here.
Why is Lucia Care not Swan-labeled?
Lucia Care is not Swan-labeled because we have chosen to use potent organic medicinal herbs that contain essential oils. These oils have important skin-caring properties and naturally contain some of the perfume substances that require declaration.

Lucia Cares products are also distinguished by their unisex scent and can be used by the whole family.
Recycled plastic & glass
Our journey towards sustainability never stops. This is also reflected in our packaging, which is produced from glass and recycled plastic to the greatest extent possible. All our boxes are made from recycled paper, and all packaging can be recycled.
