Walk and meditation
How long does it take to get a dose of nature that's high enough for you to feel healthy and experience a strong sense of well-being? Perhaps you haven't thought about it before? Through this exercise, which combines regular brisk walks and meditation, you can find out what works best for you and your body.
Tank in nature

The exercise involves taking a two-hour silent walk once a week.
It is important that it is at least two hours, as the heart needs time to find a good balance between systole, which is the phase where blood is pumped out of the heart and around the body, and diastole, where the heart is relaxed and filled with blood from the body.
The physical heart's rhythm can be a metaphor for the psychological heart: when we as humans act in the world with an activated sensory system, we also need to retreat to recharge. The same mechanism that the heart has, we also need to practice in our way of being in the world to avoid stress.
Regular brisk walks of two hours” duration relieve the heart and lower blood pressure. This reduces the level of stress hormones in the body, and waste products are excreted through breathing. Over time, you will experience a meditative mood where your mind is cleared of thoughts, and calmness descends upon you as you experience a sense of grounding. At Lucia Care, we call it ”walking in your body.".
