Many of us grew up with the idea that the sun is something we need to protect ourselves from. But what if the sun – in the right amounts – is just as important for our health as sleep, exercise, and nourishment?
“The sun is absolutely vital. We wouldn't be here at all without it,” Nanna says in the conversation. Sunlight produces vitamin D, stimulates serotonin, strengthens the immune system, and improves sleep. Research shows that just 10 minutes of morning light can affect your mood and circadian rhythm all day long.
And no – it's not about lying around and frying between 12 and 3. It's about relearning the relationship with the sun. Without fear. With consideration. And with the trust that nature can still do something that no supplement can replace.
