OCEAN DIVE
Nourishing Salt Scrub
For Body, Hands & Feet
Deep cleansing, revitalizing, and warming
The Dead Sea, saturated with salt, is known for its healing and beneficial effects on skin plagued by psoriasis and eczema. This is due to its high content of salt and essential minerals.
Like horsetail, sea salt has a high silica content, which also has a warming effect and is very healthy for the skin. Furthermore, sea salt is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal. This means that bacteria, fungi, and microorganisms cannot survive in salt. It also therefore has preservative and, not least, moisture-retaining properties.
Healthy and stimulated cell activity
With our daily routines and the current focus on frequent handwashing and sanitizing, skin is extra exposed. It easily loses its essential salts and minerals. When we use salt-based scrubs, we provide the skin with a range of these minerals, which are important for maintaining healthy cell activity and stimulating anti-inflammatory actions. In this way, sea salt has an anti-aging effect and helps to maintain elasticity, radiance, and softness.
3-Stage Rocket: The Multi-Functional Effect of Nourishing Salt Scrub
- Sea salt/minerals
– especially silica from medicinal herbs, including horsetail – has a deep cleansing effect that, in addition to removing dead skin cells, also inhibits the unwanted growth of skin cells that can occur with dry and flaky skin. Additionally, salt and silica open pores and infuse the skin with essential minerals that bind moisture to the skin. - Organic olive oil
– Softens and moisturizes the skin. It strengthens natural elasticity and provides a radiant glow. - Essential oils
– olive oil binds the essential oils, allowing them to penetrate deeper into the skin and contribute nurturing and relaxing properties.

Tips for using Nourishing Salt Scrub

- Karbad – Fill the bathtub with warm water and transform your bathroom into a spa and oasis of calm.
Use 2 tbsp of scrub for your whole body. It can also be used on the face, but remember to close your eyes. While you are in the bath, the good oils will penetrate deeply and soften your skin. Lie down for 15 minutes and do breathing exercises in the meantime. Quiet music can also lower your pulse, and the warmth from the bath will relax your muscles. This reduces tension and activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which counteracts stress. - Salt scrub in the sauna – If you have access to a sauna, it is the optimal heating tool.
A trip to the sauna provides the body with deep relaxation and warmth, thus also activating our immune system. Rub the salt scrub all over your body with calm, circular motions. Avoid the eye area. Rinse thoroughly in the shower. - Hot shower Let the hot water rain down on your neck and shoulders.
Apply the warming salt scrub and massage the skin on your entire body in small circular motions. Rinse thoroughly. Finish by alternating between cold and warm water to increase blood circulation and achieve overall relaxation and inner warmth in your body after the sudden temperature changes. Gently pat your body dry and apply an oil or Lucia Care’s DeStress Day Lotion.
